Tuesday 8 March Meeting - Guest Speaker Jim Waller

On the March 8 meeting of the Savannah Writers Group, we will hear from one of our own and hold a vote for the future meeting location.

A HISTORY OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Jim Waller is a Tybee Author of novels, short stories, and poems. He readily admits he is no expert on the subject of the English language, but his presentation will be based upon knowledge garnered from more decades than he wishes to disclose at this time as a student of language. He requests, therefore, that we approach the subject as a discussion rather than a presentation and asks members to bring whatever they can add to the conversation.

Members will also be called upon to cast their vote on possible future meeting locations.

From the locations suggested, the locations that meet our requirements have been narrowed to these three, which you may want to visit before the vote.
